Junior Mentorship Mentee Application

Junior Mentorship Mentee Application

Founded in 2005, the Mentorship Program has provided an open and safe space for tweens and teens to connect with each other and older adoptees through various events once a month from September through June. Through events focused on the conversation of adoption, we allow for mentees to learn from our mentors, share their experiences with one another and meet their adopted peers.

The Junior Mentoring program welcomes kids of middle school age in the NYC area. The group participates in appropriate discussions about friends, family, identity, growth, adoption, and the adoptee experience at our Spence-Chapin offices and at various locations throughout Manhattan. Our Junior Mentorship program, on average has about 13-16 mentees and is facilitated by Spence-Chapin staff and adoptee mentors age 25 and over.

All mentors are cleared, processed and trained by Spence-Chapin staff.

Once your application is received and reviewed, we will be in touch to schedule an interview via Zoom.

Please Note: Incomplete applications will not be accepted; please complete all required fields.
